Before her successful real estate career, Lauren was a professional dog trainer for 15 years. She spent her years as a dog trainer raising Shetland Sheep Dogs and Boxers. In fact, the two Shetland’s pictured with Lauren are a brother and sister (from different litters) who exhibit at dog shows on a regular basis! They both compete at agility trials and exhibitions. Lauren met her husband Franco, a painting contractor, in – where else - a pet store. Lauren and Franco have four children – three sons from Franco’s first marriage, and a 30 year-old from Lauren’s first marriage. Two of their children are married and they have one grandchild! All children at home have four legs or feathers (one parrot!)

Moving has remained an important theme in Lauren’s life. Lauren grew up in homes all over the world as the child of the armed forces. "That experience is always with me," Lauren said, "I’ve lived with the emotions and stresses of finding a house and making the transition into a home. Perhaps that’s why I enjoy my work as a REALTOR now – I can empathize with the needs of relocating families!"

Despite her busy schedule, Lauren still finds time to give back to the community where she lives and works. One of her favorite activities involves utilizing her precious animals as "therapy dogs" for the elderly in convalescent homes. Lauren devotes her time and energy working with her "therapy dogs" to visit the convalescent homes and spend time with the residents there. Sympathetic to the causes of animals, Lauren makes a donation to the Humane Society at the close of each and every escrow.
